Ceramic Hanging Decoration Upgrade

Hi everyone! I recently took a trip to my local Target store, and I found this simple unfinished ceramic hanging decoration kit. The kit included, paint, one bead, rope, and a tassel. I decided to give it a simple upgrade using my own paint colors, succulents that I had on hand, and a few craft butterflies I purchased a while back at Dollar Tree. The kit was three dollars. If you're ready, I'll take you through this simple upgrade.

You will need:

One hanging kit design

Butterfly gems

Paint- I'm using celery, and antique white

Hot glue

Floral snips

Start by applying paint to your hanging ceramic decoration. I decided I would use the color celery on my design. Allow it to fully dry.

Next, using your second paint color, add it onto the lines of your ceramic decoration.

After you have painted your ceramic design, you can start to add on your succulents. Using floral snips, cut your succulents to the desired size. Add a small amount of hot glue onto the back of each succulent, and add it onto your decoration.

Now you're ready to add your butterfly gems. Add just a small amount of hot glue to the back of each butterfly gem, and add it onto your ceramic decoration. I went with three butterfly gems

After adding on your butterflies, take your tassel, and loop it through the bottom hole on your ceramic design. Once you add on bottom tassel, take the rope included and loop it through the top hole. Take your bead, and add it to the top rope, and tie it off.

You're all done. I love how this turned out. Adding on my succulents, and butterfly gems really made it stand out. I love that you can take something simple, and create your very own design. So if you're ready, head on over to Target, and pick up your very own kit for three dollars, and create your very own design!

Thank you so much for stopping by!
