How to Make a Centerpiece

Incorporate natural elements: A slice of wood with the bark still intact can make a beautiful yet simple base for a table centerpiece.
Use unusual focal features: Add items to capture attention. Instead of opting for flowers or faux plants, try dried wheat or other decorative grasses.
Use old jars to display flowers: Rescue old jars and other glass items. Soak them to remove the labels and tie lace ribbons around the rim for a country-style vase.
Upcycle old papers: Create a unique planter table decoration with vintage papers, such as old musical scores. Separate the pages and wrap them around tins.
Illuminate the dining table: Arrange candles in the middle of the table for light. Use eight candles of different lengths with the tallest candles placed in the center.

Fall Felted Acorns

In true honor of fall I thought I should make some autumn feelin' things. Though these are probably mostly used for home decor I will most likely use them as gift decorators considering I love making packages look extra decked out when I wrap them. These felted acorns are just plain cute and super simple to make! I gathered some acorn caps from a great oak tree in the park and rolled some wool roving into balls, glued them together and soon had a bowl full of cute little acorns!

DIY| 4TH OF JULY TABLESCAPE RING/CHARGER

I wanted so badly to create a tablescape for fourth of july but six chargers was going to cost me about 170.00. So I figured I made my own. the shower ring can be found at walmart 0.92 ... the ribbon at michaels 40% off... free cardboard...trim 1.50. My entire able cost under 50.00 1st you want to pre measure the ribbon and cut it to size to fit the shower ring2nd found an old box and take measurements of the plate, one you have you want to start applying the ribbon. this project was easy but definitely time consuming. The end result was worth it though.some of the items can be found at the dollar tree which would lower the cost price down

Hey y'all...I hope you are doing well in your neck of the woods. I have extended my stay at the lake a little bit longer. It is so peaceful and quiet here that I am able to get more work done than I would back in the city. I will pack up and head home tomorrow with a carload of projects that I have created. Like these fall painted neutral pumpkins. I try really hard to keep budget in mind when I decorate whether it be a craft or redoing an entire room. This project is no different. I wanted to make a Fall display for the coffee table. Yesterday I made a visit to the local thrift store where I was able to purchase 2 bags of these plastic pumpkins for just $2.oo. I was surprised at all of the Fall decor items they had for very little money. These pumpkins and gourds would have sold in the store for upwards of $6.00 per bag.
